Esplanade is an accelerator that offers mentoring to entrepreneurs whose social and environmental impact is central to their business model, to accelerate Québec’s socio-ecological transition.
As an organization that offers financing and mentoring to businesses with diversified, inclusive ownership that want to have a positive impact on society, we were drawn to the partnership because of the complementary nature of our two organizations.
As part of this agreement, we will be able to offer our clients spots in one of the three streams of the Transformation mentoring program, provided they meet Esplanade Québec eligibility criteria and the mentoring available meets their needs.
With this partnership, entrepreneurs referred by Evol can participate in intensive, cost-effective mentoring programs.
Esplanade Québec’s Transformation mentoring program
Businesses we finance that have diversified ownership and are in the growth/scaling up or established phase will have access to coaches or experts through one of the three components of the Transformation program built by Esplanade:
- Green transition: a mentoring pathway with a bank of up to 250 hours of personalized coaching from an expert for businesses in the growth or scaling up phase with strong potential for making a positive impact on the environment or food systems.
- Resolution: a mentoring pathway of 20 hours or personalized coaching from an expert for businesses in the commercialization phase that are having a positive environmental impact and that want to address a specific obstacle.
- Pivot: a pathway in the form of a cohort that includes workshops and over 28 hours of personalized coaching for 10 established businesses that want to develop a new product or innovative service to pivot in their business model to contribute to the green transition.

For its part, Esplanade Québec can identify its own clients that could benefit from our financing and mentoring.
