Financing for women entrepreneurs
We have financing solutions that match your ambitions, whether your business is in the startup, growth, acquisition, or succession phase.
Plus, companies that care about environmental and social issues and that want to make sustainable development part of their business model get particular attention.
Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund*
Amount: Loans of $20,000 to $50,000.
Eligibility: Business at least 50% owned by one or more people who identify as female.
Impact financing envelope**
Amount: Loans of $20,000 to $300,000* (up to $450,000 under certain conditions).
Eligibility: Businesses managed by at least one person from a community that is underrepresented in entrepreneurship (women, racialized people, immigrants, First Nations and Inuit people, members of the LGBTQ2S+ community, and people living with a disability). This person or these people must hold at least 25% of the shares and voting rights as well as have a strategic position in the business.
When you apply for financing, our team will evaluate your eligibility and recommend the best option for you. In some cases, a combination of the two funds can also be offered.
*The Women Entrepreneurship Loan Fund, which is part of the Government of Canada’s Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, is managed in Quebec by Evol, in partnership with MicroEntreprendre.
**The Evol impact envelope is offered through partnerships with the Government of Québec, through its agent Investissement Québec, the Government of Canada, National Bank, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), the Fonds de solidarité FTQ, and Fondaction.

Frequently Asked Questions
You don’t have to choose between Evol and a financial institution and/or other lenders. By including us in your financial arrangement, you have free access to our distinctive mentoring and are never alone when facing challenges.
We finance startups that are at the commercialization stage, meaning they expect to generate sales within three months of receiving a loan.
At this time, no grant programs are available. Financing takes the form of conventional loans and is paired with a comprehensive, personalized mentoring service.
You will be asked to submit a detailed business plan and two-year financial forecasts (including your financial arrangement, forecasted balance sheet, income statement, and monthly cash-flow budget).
